Zhangjiakou (张家口; Zhāngjiākǒu) is a city in Hebei.

Zhang Hu fast passenger dedicated line east from Hebei province Zhangjiakou City, via Wulanchabu City, West to the city of Hohhot, total station and North Station, Huai, Wulanchabu station, Zhuozi station and the Hohhot East Railway Station, a total of 5 stations. Route length of approximately 286 km, of which the territory of Inner Mongolia210.3 km,75.7 km Hebei province. Train the design speed of 250 km, infrastructure reserved speed conditions, construction period 3.5 years. By the Ministry of Railways and the the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hebei Province, co-financing construction. February 28, 2011 officially started.

  • Dajing Gate - the only gate of the Great Wall. It is famous for it's dangerous terrain. In ancient China, Zhangjiakou was a ghetto of several ethnic groups near the Mongolia Grassland, a place of military importance. It also plays an important part in the transportation and trade between Han and Mongolia people. The unique geographical location turns to beautiful landscape. Man of letters in ancient times were attracted to the gate.  edit
  • Fireworks of Molten Iron (打树花 Dǎ shù huā) - located outside the city center in Yu County (蔚县), it's a 300-year old local tradition that translates as ‘Beating Trees into Flowers’ and results in molten iron being flung against the city walls in lieu of a fireworks display during Chinese New Year.
