The main airport serving York Region is Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), which is located just outside the Region's southwest border, in Mississauga. There are two municipal airports in Souhteast York Region, Buttonville Airport and Markham Airport.

Use public transit. YRT operates frequent bus services and VIVA operates rapid transit with comfy busses up and down major throughfares in the region. The stops are spread out making for a quick ride. Think of an above-ground subway on wheels!
