Witney is a thriving market town in Oxfordshire, just off the A40 Cheltenham to Oxford road.

The MP for Witney, David Cameron, is the current leader of the Conservative Party.

Witney town centre is compact and can easily be covered on foot. Even the surrounding housing estates are just a brisk 15 minute walk from the town centre.

Witney is home to the Wychwood Brewery, and many of the beers which it produces are availble around the town. Priced around £2-3 per pint or bottle.

Witney has a couple of hotels, The Witney Four Pillars just off the A40 slip road from Oxford and The Marlborough in the town centre. The Witney Hotel can also be found on Church Green.
