Willow Creek is on the Richardson Highway (State Highway 4) about midway between Copper Center and Tonsina. It is close to the intersection with the Old Edgerton Highway leading to Kenny Lake, which should not be confused with the Edgerton Highway (State Highway 10) that is the direct route to Kenny Lake, but intersects with the Richardson Highway further south, close to Tonsina.
