Willits is a city in Mendocino County on the North Coast of California. It is best known as the inland railroad endpoint for the Skunk Train,  from Fort Bragg.
Highway 101 runs north to south through Willits.

Willits is the "Gateway to the Redwoods" going North and the "Gateway to Wine Country" going South. Its centralized location allows our visitors to visit the Redwoods, the Coast and "America's Greenest Wine Region" all by convenient day trips. Willits is home to the eastern terminal of the "Skunk Train" and also the Mendocino County Museum and Roots of Motive Power. We also boost the oldest continual Rodeo in the State during Fourth of July!
