The French version of Wikitravel has been launched, marking the second foreign language version after Romanian. We are busy translating the help files and figuring out how to say "plunge forward", "phrasebook", etc. in French.

Romanian Wikitravel is going for 100 articles after a month online, having by now 88 articles (refering mostly to European destinations) and 11 registred users. Many of the help files are allready localized, and there are some featured articles. First article to be ever translated from the Romanian Wikitravel to the English Wikitravel was Bucharest, followed by Tirana. An avarage of 13 edits per day was registred during the last month on the Wikitravel în română.
