[edit] Scheduled upgrade to MediaWiki 1.6.2

This is a notification that there will be downtime on wikitravel.org from 0200 to 0400 UTC 11 April 2006 (Wednesday). That's 10PM to midnight EDT Tuesday. This will be to upgrade to the latest version of MediaWiki, which has some nice little features (like defaults in template parameters). --Evan 23:46, 9 April 2006 (EDT)

No. Right now, I'm in a "well, don't do that" mode with the Linux kernel upgrade. We had a real slowdown when I upgraded to 2.6.x, and we're back to normal with 2.4.x. So I'm going to wait-and-see about doing another kernel upgrade. --Evan 00:38, 10 April 2006 (EDT)
