[edit] Bug fix for new message indicator

There was a bug in the new message indicator that didn't clear out the little blinkenlight when users with non-ASCII chars in their usernames read their own user pages (which was pretty annoying). This should be fixed now. As a bonus, users with non-ASCII chars in their usernames should see the correct name up in the "personal toolbar" area. --Evan 09:10, 8 March 2006 (EST)
