West Point Island

West Point Island, in the West of the Falklands West Point Island is in the northwestern portion of the Falkland Islands. There is also an airstrip that can be used by the FIGAS planes, although it is not as well-maintained as the airstrips on other islands and is therefore not frequently used. The large colony on the western side of the island is a quick Landrover trip from the settlement, or a leisurely thirty minute walk.
