Ursus is a district of Warsaw. Ursus (Latin: a bear) was originally the brand name of tractors manufactured there, but it soon superseded the real name of the locality, which was Czechowice. Ursus is a formerly industrial district that is now turning residential. It is further divided into Czechowice, Gołąbki, Niedźwiadek, Skorosze and Szamoty.
Because Ursus was originally not part of Warsaw, transit to this area of the city is slightly less direct, although there are a number of rail and bus routes into the district.
