Warnemünde is a district of the city Rostock in Germany and a popular Baltic Sea resort.

Warnemünde is a port city used by Cruise ships. The cruise ships dock at Hohe Düne. It can be reached easily by train or taxi from Rostock which actually owned this town for a number of years.

Cruises use Warnemünde as a hub for the rest of Germany. Many go to Berlin (a 3 hour train ride). Rostock is ten minutes away by train. All trains from Warnemünde make a stop in Rostock.
The train station is an easy three minute walk north along the dock. You can get train tickets from a machine, or from the English speaking employees in the coffee shop.

- The lighthouse, which was built in 1897, is located near the beach promenade. It is still in use. The view from the high tower provides an impressive view of the Baltic Sea and nearby Rostock region.
- The nearby Teepott (Teapot) is another famous landmark. It has a curved roof and is an interesting example of East German architecture.
- An old canal area boast restaurants, pubs, and a fish market.
- Warnemünde’s sandy beaches are the largest on the German coast and are about 3 kilometres (2 miles) long.
