Wangaratta is a town of around 20,000 people in Victoria, Australia.

By car[edit]

Wangaratta lies on the Hume Freeway between Sydney and Melbourne.

By coach[edit]

Greyhound services Wangaratta as a on request stop on their daily service between Sydney and Melbourne.

By train[edit]

Since the standard gauge conversion of the Victorian section of the line, the day and night Countrylink XPT services between Sydney and Melbourne stop at Wangaratta. Two VLine train services to Albury, together with connecting Vline bus services to Seymour.

  • There are a dozen wineries within 30 minutes drive of Wangaratta. Some offer food and accommodation.
