Wamberal is a suburb in the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, approximately an hour's drive north from Sydney.

Together with district neighbors Avoca, Copacabana, Forrester's Beach, McMaster's Beach, and Terrigal, Wamberal is considered one of the jewels of the Central Coast. Its natural resources, which include agriculturally sound soil, rolling hills, sandstone, and pockets of rainforest, provide excellent opportunities for residents to create stunning backdrops for their own personal home landscaping.

Watersports, fishing, sailing, and swimming are among the more popular outdoor activities in this sociable community. In 2003, Wamberal registered a population of about 12,000.
