Voss is a town in Hordaland.

From Bergen or Oslo, follow European route E16 east or west, respectively. The road goes directly through the center of Voss. Busses to Bergen are operated by Skyss (line 950), and take about 100 minutes.

Voss is also on the railway line between Bergen and Oslo. The service to Bergen is fairly frequent, with several local trains making the run. The journey takes about 75 minutes.

• Voss is a convienient place to stay while exploring the Hardangerfjord to the south of Voss. As it is located on the Bergensbanen railway, a stay here can also be combined with a day-trip to Flåm with the Flåm railway (starts on Myrdal station on Bergensbanen).
