Being a predominantly Muslim country, drunken revelry is not as common as neighboring Balkan countries, however men will drink together after dinner in the many cafes that line the main street. Do not expect to see any females drinking at any time, or out in cafes after dark. There are no nightclubs or discos or Western-style "pubs" to speak of in Vlorë. You might want to try the downstairs of one of the more expensive hotels to the West of the main street. the night life is now gwtting much better becaus there are giant discos built in the sea or near the seaside as sumer depo or caballito del mar ect.
