Welcome to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.
I looked at Wikishared and saw you were editing my contributions under 2old or Mike Sharp. My concern was that I did something wrong. If I have, please advise and I will correct it in the future. But, again, you did nothing wrong, I thought I did. Have a good day there in Japan. Here in Ohio it is 85 degrees (hot) and I am going to go out and enjoy it. 2old 11:02, 4 August 2007 (EDT)
Hello Shoestring! I have recently checked the Japanese Wikitravel and I noticed that you are a very active contributor over there. I highly appreciate your support on the site! As a result, Japanese Wikitravel has recently become one of the most developed and best maintained foreign version of Wikitravel. Congratulations and thank you! ( ありがとう ). I would appreciate if you can let me know if the other administrators on the Japanese Wikitravel speak also English.
I would love to keep in touch with you and talk a little bit about the Japanese site.
Cheers! IBAlex 20:16, 18 October 2012 (EDT)

Hi, I noticed your message on IBAlex talk page about the spam filter. Our technical department is currently working on a bug that is affecting the adding of external links, hopefully after tomorrow it will be fixed so please try again then. I am sure IBAlex will respond to you as well but just so you are aware. Thanks for all your work!! Adzas (talk) 06:43, 4 October 2015 (EDT)
