Hello, Scubatec! Welcome to Wikitravel.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. • • • Peter (Southwood) Talk 04:25, 22 May 2011 (EDT)

I see you have made some contributions on Diving in the Philippines. I have reformatted these to comply with the Manual of Style and with current guidelines for Scuba Diving regional articles. One of the requirements is that only one link is permitted for a service provider's website, and that is in the service provider listing. If you wish to create articles on dive sites and dive regions within the Philippines you are very welcome to do so. It is recommended that these should follow the Wikitravel format for divesite sub-articles, and dive region articles, as this will save a lot of effort editing them to comply with the style preferred on Wikitravel. If you dont have the skills or inclination to do this level of editing, you can just enter the text and upload the pictures to Wikitravel:Shared and someone on Wikitravel will edit it for you, but there is always a small risk of misinterpretation of details when this is done. I have looked at your website pages on the Subic Wrecks and Anilao, and there is quite a lot there that would improve the Diving in the Philippines article if you wish to contribute. For an idea of how the Wikitravel Scuba diving article system works, see Scuba diving, Diving in South Africa, Diving the Cape Peninsula and False Bay, Scuba diving in the British Virgin Islands and the dive site sub-articles to these. Some diving articles have reached star status, which means they are good examples of what we think are good articles, but they all start off as outlines, as outlines are better than nothing, and form a base for future improvement. Cheers, • • • Peter (Southwood) Talk 04:50, 22 May 2011 (EDT)
