To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. LtPowers 11:09, 24 April 2009 (EDT)
You may have noticed that a couple of us have rolled back edits you've made to the Philippines page. Not sure what you're doing, but your edits are causing all sorts of weird formatting issues. Also, you're making the pages very image-heavy. While this may not be a problem if you're on a nice fast internet connection, for those of us with slower connections, and also for users on PDAs and other mobile devices lots of big images become a problem. I'm not saying "no images", but try and be a little more selective, and also resize them in an image editor to be a lot smaller. Have a look at some of the existing site images to get an idea of suitable sizes and numbers.
If you need any assistance, just leave a message on here and there's plenty of people around who can give you a hand.
