Hello there, I had to undo your page for Mount Pinatubo‎‎ because the content you had posted was copied word-to-word from other websites and this is against our policies and guidelines --OVK 10:32, 4 February 2013 (EST)

Your Contributions[edit]

Hi Rava sd! I have looked at your contributions recently and I noticed that some of the content you post on Wikitravel is copied from Wikipedia. For example the content of Biertan page was copied and pasted from this page [1]. Please know that the content on Wikitravel should be written by travelers and not copied from other sources. I do believe that your intentions were good and that the new pages were created in good faith. Please know that I saw also lots of constructive edits from you that are very valuable and would benefit the traveler. In this situation, I have to delete all the contributions that were copied from other sites but I will certainly leave those made by you. On Mount Pinatubo page the whole introduction has to be taken off as it is a word-to-word copy from Wikipedia. I believe that you can be a great contributor on Wikitravel and I am here to give you guidance and help you contributing. Warm regards, IBAlex 15:56, 4 February 2013 (EST)

Also, in all the pictures you uploaded [2] the information about source is missing. I see you attributed it to Wikimedia Commons license but still in the section source you have to write from what site is this file/ from what previous works was this file derived. Please read this info [3] and fill out the missing information. Thank you in advance for your cooperation! IBAlex 16:24, 4 February 2013 (EST)

Hey, thanks for the info. I thought Wikipedia is okay to copy since it is in the same wikifamily. Sorry, I did not know that. The pictures are all my own personal pictures taken from the trips there.

No problem, I am here to help! The best way around this is to simply rewrite the info so it is not a word-to-word copy. Thank you for the clarification about pictures! They are truly incredible! Warm regards, IBAlex 19:41, 4 February 2013 (EST)
