[edit] Wikipedia and Copyright

Hi, Check out Wikitravel:Welcome, Wikipedians which explains some of the difference between Wikitravel and Wikipedia. Among the more important differences is that all content on Wikitravel is licensed with the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 1.0 license. Wikipedia content is usually licensed with the GFDL and cannot be copied into Wikitravel unless it is dual licensed with CC-SA. See Wikitravel:Why Wikitravel isn't GFDL.
