Hi Mistsy! Thanks for your edits on Jinan and on Weihai, they are much appreciated!
I thought I'd just drop by and welcome you to Wikitravel. If you want to specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences.
Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki software look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup.
If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page . -- Tim 06:30, 14 August 2006 (EDT)
- I made a few changes to the Jinan article that you worked on - I added the get out section back in at the end, and I moved the get in section back to the top. We try and keep all the articles looking similar on wikitravel so that people can find the information they need easily, for a better explanation, read Wikitravel:Article_templates. Also, in the get in and get around sections people often split them up into various modes of transport ie by bus, by train etc. But that's not set in stone and isn't really enforced... Thanks for your edits! Tim 06:30, 14 August 2006 (EDT)
- And thanks from me too. Just one note: the "Get out" section is meant to suggest other places to visit or continue onward to in the vicinity (and yeah, it's not a very obvious name), if you have any ideas please add 'em there. Jpatokal 05:23, 15 August 2006 (EDT)
