Hello!

Welcome to Wikitravel. If you want to specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki software look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. -- Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 19:41, 10 July 2006 (EDT)

Chichen Hotel[edit]

I think you've misunderstood Jpatokal's revert of your contributions and my comments. If the Chichen Hotel has been operating before WWII/ 75 years + go ahead an add your information back in, but this is a wiki, and should someone else come along and say I don't think this belongs for this reason they can remove your contributions. That's the beauty of a wiki. Do realize you cannot upload any images of the hotel unless you agree to the following criteria: 1. You own the copyright to the image 2. You agree to license the image under CC-by-Sa 1.0 license. Thanks. -- Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 19:53, 10 July 2006 (EDT)

P.S. I was under the same impression that the hotel was not very old, because there isn't explicit information regarding how old the hotel is. I think that's why Jpatokal removed your contribution. -- Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 20:02, 10 July 2006 (EDT)
