Hi, Firefox! Welcome to Wikitravel. Thanks for plunging forward so far. If you're going to continue working on Wikitravel, you may find the tips for new contributors helpful.

You should also make sure you understand our copyleft and policies and guidelines. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted.

If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub or on the talk page for the most appropriate article.

Thanks for your contributions so far. One thing I'm wondering about: we have a Wikitravel:Welcome, Wikipedians page for Wikipedians to get up to speed quickly on Wikitravel. I wonder if you think there's a point to making a Wikitravel:Welcome, Wikibookians that would help participants in that project understand Wikitravel. Our interaction with Wikibooks has been kinda tenuous... we should work on making it better. --Evan 14:50, 20 Nov 2004 (EST)

Hi Evan,
Thanks for your welcome. I don't think that it's needed to make a welcomepage, special for wikibookians. Most of them came on wikibooks by way of wikipedia.
But, I didn't read the Wikitravel:Welcome, Wikipedians page. Maybe the information there isn't enough for 'pure' wikibookians. If that's so, maybe an update is enough, but if it's necessary to make a seperated page for wikibookians, I'll see if I can make a start for a page like that.
