Hello, Eoconnor! Welcome to Wikitravel.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for your contributions to Boston, but please have a look at Wikitravel:Don't tout and our tour listing policy. Adding more than one business listing to an article will almost always lead to a revert since it looks like advertising, something we try to avoid. Additionally, since every tour company in the world seems to want to add a listing here, we've come up with some guidelines for when a listing is appropriate, and specifically the "tourist cannot fulfill the substance of a tour on their own" clause tends to eliminate walking tours. We'll generally allow a one or two companies to add walking tour listings in articles, but if it starts to grow beyond that then they usually all end up getting removed. -- Ryan • (talk) • 17:10, 1 June 2010 (EDT)
