Hello, DavidG! Welcome to Wikitravel.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Please see the discussion here about the lists of non-stop flights to Chicago. You may want to inquire in the travellers' pub whether lists of those kind are desired in general — I don't believe our articles for major cities have included them in the past. That's not to say that aren't welcome, but it's best to check before you do any more work. Gorilla Jones 00:44, 2 April 2009 (EDT)

Lists of cities[edit]

Hi David! A word of advice -- when you add long lists of cities, like you did here, make sure the links go where you want them to go! For example, you linked to Buffalo instead of to Buffalo (New York) and you linked New York instead of New York (city). We don't want travelers to click on a link to see a city and instead see a disambiguation page, because they won't know what city you meant! If you could go back and check any lists you've created so far, we'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks! LtPowers 21:53, 2 April 2009 (EDT)

No worries, that's how we learn. =) LtPowers 22:15, 2 April 2009 (EDT)
