Welcome to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. Where in the world is Caravelas?
I just noticed the Caravelas article you contributed didn't have an introduction paragraph or status note. When I first read it I had no idea where it was in the world. I know it might seem obvious from the wiki links you followed, but I found it through the New Pages. Others could be reading this article off a printed page and would not be able to work out where it was at all. So Wikitravel articles have a template that helps locate them in the world. If you copy the full quick version template from the article templates you will get all the template text you need for a basic article and can fill it out from there.
Also, if you are writing about visiting another place in an article, it should go into the Get out section. I have edited the page and rearranged it. See how it looks now. -- Huttite 08:23, 9 Jan 2006 (EST)
