Wikitravel has fairly specific guidelines about not adding multiple links to businesses - see Wikitravel:Don't tout. The Black Pottery Coffee Village is listed under the "Do" section of the Shangrila article, so there shouldn't be any reason to add a link to a specific business within that village elsewhere in the article. If you disagree please discuss on Talk:Shangrila before re-adding your listing. -- Ryan • (talk) • 11:39, 26 September 2011 (EDT)
Shangri-la and Nixi are not the same location (re: "there shouldn't be any reason to add a link to a specific business within that village").
In regard to multiple links to businesses, if you look at the EAT and DRINK sections on the Shangrila page you will see that several business are listed in both. Why has that not been corrected on your patrols?
I removed our listing from the EAT section and added an informative piece about Nixi in the DO section. I registered to do it as well. —The preceding comment was added by Black Pottery Coffee (talk • contribs)
First, thank you for the clarifications. Your initial edit adding three listings with the same URL is what initially caused concerns about touting. The current version seems to be OK based on your clarifications. As to other businesses having multiple listings, feel free to point out any issues on Talk:Shangrila and someone will eventually get them cleaned up. Alternately, you are welcome to remove any duplicates yourself, just please be sure to state in the "Summary" box the reason for any removal so that your changes aren't mistaken for attempts to remove competitor listings. If you have any questions this talk page or Talk:Shangrila are good places to ask them. -- Ryan • (talk) • 13:30, 26 September 2011 (EDT)
