To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.
I noticed a lot of the info you recently added to the Bay Harbor page was taken from other websites (such as The Inn at Harbor Bay). We really appreciate your effort, but unless you're the author of those websites and are giving us permission to reuse the text according to our copyleft license, we can't keep it on Wikitravel. If you are the author, please let us know, otherwise we'll have to delete it. Thanks. Shaund 01:25, 24 April 2009 (EDT)
- One month later, and no response, so I've deleted your uploads and contributions. In addition to being apparent copyright violations, they also violated our policies: Wikitravel:Don't tout and shared:Image policy, so you might want to take a look at those before contributing further. --Peter Talk 14:35, 26 May 2009 (EDT)
- The additions you just made are direct copies from other websites. I'm reverting them as copyright violations. Thanks. --inas 00:04, 21 September 2009 (EDT)
- Edit warring and re-uploading the deleted images will not help your case any, and appears to demonstrate bad faith in editing. If you persist, your site will be blacklisted, hurting its search ranking. - Dguillaime 00:31, 21 September 2009 (EDT)
