Template[edit]

How about creating a template for this bot to use? Instead of creating long lists of pages users would like to have Maj force feed the bot to spit out a translation of the page to a specific language? I see the template working like this {{AutoTransBot|Foo}} Foo would be replaced by "English" or "Spanish" and the tag would be placed at the top of the guide article's talk page. I'm going to plunge forward and create the template and if there isn't any use for it we'll delete it. -- Andrew Haggard (Sapphire) 18:31, 11 September 2006 (EDT)

Alright, so I plunge forward and the template is now at Template:AutoTransBot. To use the template you have to type: {{AutoTransBot|Sapphire|DE}}. To see the template in action please see my user talk page. -- Sapphire 19:14, 11 September 2006 (EDT)
I think I'm pickin' up what you're laying down and it seems like a hot hot idea... It'll take a little time to rework the bot's brain, but it shouldn't be too much work once I get to it. Thanks for following up on this... Maj 20:04, 11 September 2006 (EDT)
"Hot hot". Does that make me a genius? :P -- Sapphire 20:44, 11 September 2006 (EDT)
