Hello! Welcome to Wikitravel. Unfortunately I had to revert your edit on the Russia page, no copied information from Wikipedia on Wikitravel please and also no links to secondary sources. Feel free to add information in your own words. To help get you started contributing, we've created a quick contribution guide and tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. -- Adzas (talk) 09:16, 6 January 2014 (EST)

Welcome Wikipedians![edit]

Hello! Welcome to Wikitravel! Thank you for your recent contributions. We are happy to have you in our traveler's community. I suggest reading welcome page for Wikipedians that points our someof the differences between both sites. You asked before about the citations- Wikitravel articles do not use references. It's fine to point to authoritative primary source external sites for additional information (eg. visa sections are usually linked into the country's immigration website), but individual claims are not referenced. If a claim is dubious or in dispute, it's best to hammer out a reworded consensus on the Talk page, not try to "prove" that it's true.

It's a good idea tocreate an account as it has multiple benefits, ex. no need to pass recaptcha test and the ability to communicate with other users. Please let us know if you have questions. We are happy to help. Warm regards, IBAlex (talk) 17:34, 7 January 2014 (EST)
