Why are my changes being removed? I have very valuable experience to share with future travelers? Karl

I'm not sure anyone reading this knows what changes you're referring to. Could you please be more specific? I'll make one comment, though: I appreciate the edits you made in the Dakar guide, but I did delete one listing and specified in my editing Summary that it was because we don't post bad reviews here (better not to list lousy hotels). So one thing you might want to do is look in the "history" of the articles where you made edits and see whether whoever reverted your edits posted a "Summary" specifying why.
The other thing I'd say is, don't be discouraged: Everyone's work gets edited here. And please keep contributing!
All the best,

Thanks Ikan

Yeah, I just felt I had to warn people about that hotel as it was really dodgy, and the so called "Porters" at the airport insist on taking you there... then you can't even shower and toilet takes more than an hour to refil after flushing... very dodgey...

So maybe it's an exception to the usual policy of not posting bad reviews. Could you please post your argument to Talk:Dakar so it can be discussed? Also, it's customary to sign posts in "Talk" pages by typing 4 tildes (the "~" key) in a row before pressing "Enter." Ikan Kekek 05:46, 28 November 2011 (EST)
