I am a Kiwi and Swiss and immigrated to New Zealand in 1983. As one of the owners of the Wairere Boulders Nature Park in the Hokianga, I am heavily involved in promoting our area. I know the Hokianga Harbour and Northlland area extremely well. I was a long time in the executive of the Hokianga Tourism Association and therefore know every tourism operator, every attraction and every accommodation provider. I am also the web designer of the original website www.hokiangatourism.org.nz, own and operate the site www.hokianga.net.nz and www.wairereboulders.co.nz

I am most interrested that our area is correctly represented and will strive to continue in putting the Hokianga "on the map"

Also, in my younger years, I have intensively travelled and worked all around our globe as civil engineer and planner, and hence, seen a lot.

I hope to have good collaboration with my co-editors.
