I teach business English in Hamamatsu in the Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka. I am an administrator on the Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, and Romanian versions of this website.
I am originally from the tiny city of Pampa, Texas, and I lived for 10 years in Denton, not far from bustling Dallas. I have been living in Japan for most of the last 5 years, the first of those in Tottori. In Japan, I have also been to
Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Nara, Okayama, and of course, Tokyo.
Other places I have traveled:
I speak English natively and Portuguese fluently, and I can speak Spanish and Japanese to some extent. I have some basics in Italian, Romanian, and Catalan but can't really converse well at all.
I occasionally keep a travel blog with photos here but haven´t updated in a while. One of these days...
