I teach business English and do translation work in Hamamatsu City, in the Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka. I am an active administrator on the English, Spanish, and Portuguese versions of this website.
I am originally from the tiny city of Pampa, Texas, and I lived for 10 years in Denton, not far from bustling Dallas. I have been living in Japan for more than 7 years, the first of those in Tottori and the rest in Hamamatsu. In Japan, I am also familiar with
Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Nara, Okayama, Yokohama and of course, Tokyo.
In Spring 2012, I will be making a big move to the direct opposite side of the world, with a relocation to São Paulo.
Other places I have traveled:
I speak English natively, Portuguese fluently, and Japanese well, and I can speak Spanish and Mandarin to lesser extents, and bits of other languages.
