For those who care to know, I am a journalist (among other titles) living in Ridgecrest, California. Ridgecrest is my home town and I have lived here most of my life.

My interest in Wikitravel is mostly limited to developing pages to share information about Ridgecrest and the surrounding area with people from the rest of the world. After all, I know lots of reasons why this is a great place and lots of ways to get the most out of it.

Feel free to write to me, especially if you'd like to collaborate on expanding the Ridgecrest page or other Mojave Desert/Eastern Sierra Nevada pages.

I've made myself a docent of the Ridgecrest page. I'm not sure I'll contribute as often as the guidelines suggest, but since this seems to be a one-man show, you should give a bit more consideration before wiping my name off it. Feel free to jump in as a docent yourself, though.
