The River Tuul Nomad's Sacred Valley - The river Tuul is one of the longest rivers of the country, flowing from the Khentii Mountain Range. The valley of the river has been called sacred for centuries by the nomads as they truly respect the nature especially the rivers and the surface water. The beautiful valley in summer is often dotted with traditional Mongolian gers and offers picturesque sceneries. There are national gers in beautiful natural locations, so it's easy to meet with nomads and see their daily lives, interact with them to learn more about the lifestyle of Mongolian nomads, to show you theirs animal training, feeding, milking, food preparation, etc, explore by horse riding, go bird watching, take water adventures, go trekking or walking, go rock climbing, flowers, butterflies, and taking amazing photos, etc. Enjoy stars in the vast Mongolian night sky, when getting dark. Taste a real Mongolian stone roast lamb barbeque "Khorkhog" or go swimming in the "Tuul" river. "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Gers Camp is located ( GPS: N47°49.893', E107° 31.339') in the beautiful natural Tuul river Nomad's Sacred Valley of streams, pine trees with mountains and steppes in the background, just 55km (25miles) east of Ulaanbaatar city. "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Gers Camp is Highly recommended by "Lonely Planet Mongolia", by the author Michael Kohn. "Chinggis" Tourist Gers Camp, was inaugurated in July 2002 in memory of "Chinggis" Khaan's 840th Birthday Celebration!.
Location: From Ulaan Baatar (UB) to "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Camp is 51 km (25 miles) paved road and 4 km (2 miles) unpaved road , on the road to Baganuur in the territory of Erdene soum, Tov aimag (province). This lovely traditional tourist camp owned by Samar Magic Tours LLC, lies on the bank of "Tuul" river between 107°31'29" Longitude and 47°49'32 Latitude. The average altitude is 1446m (4338 feet) above sea level. "
- A 40 meter (~133,3 feet) Statue of "Chinggis" Khaan on a big horse on Tsonjin Boldog Hill is located just ~3kms (~1,5miles) to "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Gers Camp.
- On the Eastern fringe of the Terelj National Park, about 50km (~25miles) and just on the road to Baganuur, is "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Camp.
- Around 15km (~7.5miles) Southeast of the "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Ger Camp is an 8th-century Turkic Stele of Tonyukuk.

"Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Camp is fully equipped with electricity (voltaje: 220V), hot showers, western style toilets, and running water. Water Supply by 50m deep artificial well.
Accommodation services: There are 12 gers at the camp: 5 Gers - 2 beds in each ger, 7 Gers - 3 beds in each ger.
Restaurant services: Restaurant for 60 people. Food - European, Latin American, Mongolian and Asian on choice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Car Parking available. Daily airport or train station Pick Up. Bonfire with traditional Mongolian meal (khorkhog), which is mutton cooked with hot rock and with vegetables, water, potatoes, and onion can be made by the request of the guests. Credit Cards Accepted. Mobile phone available. Renting traditional Mongolian clothes for photos. Special programme for small groups more than 10 tourists o more participants is the Mini-Naadam Festival of horse racing with some local children (from the 4 to 10 years old), wrestling and archery + Evening National Performers (concert which includes the Tsam dance, traditional Mongolian singers, dancers, Tuvan throat singing and contortionists.
