I live in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

I am retired, having worked near Johannesburg for a major chemical company since emigrating to South Africa from Blackpool, England in 1983.

My wife and I have travelled quite extensively around the tourist spots around South Africa.

We've also travelled around Switzerland; being a fan of trains and majestic scenery our first trip there in 2007 won't be our last!

The British canal system is also one the things we're "in to".
