I'm an Aussie guy, born and bred in Sydney. Six months ago I finally got my dream job - Cabin Crew. I work for a low-cost airline based in Stansted, 32 miles north of London. Living and working in Europe has given me the chance to satisfy my wanderlust to the max!

I have always been obsessed by three things, that are all linked ...

- Art, ranging from ancient to the late 19th century, depending on my mood and where I am at that moment.

- History in all its guises, whether it be ancient, medieval, renaissance or even what happened last year. But my main interest is the Roman Empire, from Augustus to the fall of the Western Empire in 476 AD. As this is my biggest love, the articles I will be editing will tend to be places where the Romans were.

- Travel, especially to the places and areas the Romans left behind when their Empire disappeared. But I also adore all of Europe. Tropical islands are on the list of things I love as well. I enjoy passing on the knowledge of places to others, and like to learn from other's experiences too. This web site is fantatic for this sharing of knowledge.
