Hi WikiTravelers.
Just started checking out WikiTravel for some opinions and suggestions and ran into HotelsCombined. I've started assisting them and found their site useful, no matter where I am traveling. At least with HotelsCombined, I know I am checking out all of the hotel options in my price range before choosing. For the hotel choices in Alaska, visit these listings.
As for my advice, I recommend visiting the Kenai Peninsula and some of the small, hidden lakes in that area. The fishing and hiking is always great (but bring a rain coat.) my favorite spot is in Moose Pass and is a restaurant, lodge, bar and coffee shop called Summit Lake Lodge, on one of the remote lakes I was mentioning. It's a good resting spot when driving from Seward to Anchorage.
