My name is Les Golding and I was born on March 11th 1956 in Sunderland, County Durham, England and I have worked as a professional photographer for over thirty years, specialising in photography for museums and art gallery's. In 1994 I began studying part-time as a mature student at the University of Sunderland's School of Fine Art for a BA (Honours) degree in Photography, Video & Digital Imageing; graduating in 1999 with a 2:1 classification. My wife and I have visited the Greek islands on a regular basis since 1979 and have developed a deep affection for the people and their culture. Because we have visited the islands many times now I have built up an extensive collection of images which I decided to develop into a website (www.atlantis-photography.co.uk) and to add new images and islands on a regular basis.

To date we have visited Crete (three times), Santorini (five times), Kephalonia, Rhodes, Kos, Cyprus, Lesbos, Corfu, Skiathos, Naxos, Paros.
