Also: St. Johns in the US Virgin Islands, probably my favorite. When I relocated from NYC, I drove and camped my way across the country, with all my stuff and my pug. Near as I could tell, Missouri= big flying insects... One of my fondest memories was I spending a week on the AT with a very dear friend and lots of rain and borrowed gear: it was amazing.
