Basel is a large Swiss city located on the Rhine River at the border of Switzerland, France, & Germany. Basel is a gateway to the Jura Mountains, France's Alsace, Germany's Black Forest, and nearby Zürich and Lucerne. Putrajaya is Malaysia's future capital, and a mega project currently under construction, some 30 kilometers south of the current capital Kuala Lumpur. The main attraction here is it's colossal showcase buildings - and as of yet - extremely sparse population, which can make it seem like a surreal "movie set" at times. (more...)
