I traveled Central and South America only a few years ago - before all the insta-info websites were up and running (Google Maps, Hostel Search Engines, Wiki's, Facebook)- and I had to rely on a paper guidebook and email. Seems fairly archaic now :)

I am in the midst of a South Pacific and Asia romp. I like the idea of laying down some additional tracks for travelers who come behind.
