My name is Marc Heiden. I'm from Chicago, specifically Rogers Park, but I've also lived in Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Norwalk, Champaign-Urbana, and Austin.

Travels include Russia (on the Trans-Siberian Railway), Australia, Canada, England, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and quite a lot of Japan and the USA.

I'm an administrator on the English Wikitravel, editor of the Wikitravel Press guidebook Hiroshima and Western Japan, and co-editor (with the good Mr. Fitzgerald) of Chicago.

Also, I have a website and a photostream, which are updated every now and then.
