Fraveler is the alias for Dave Johnson, avid traveller, writer, and adventurer from Dallas, TX.

As odd as my name might sound, it's actually a combination of family names (Fred and Dave) combined with traveler into a new name. Although I've spent most of my life in Dallas, TX, over the last 5 years I"ve tried to get out and travel to other destinations on the globe as best as I could.

I just returned from a year in Europe, where I spent six months living and working in Edinburgh, Scotland, 4 months in Barcelona, and the rest travelling to many points in between. Before that big trip, I wandered over to Spain for a study abroad program in Toledo. In the midst of that trip and a few others during the summers, I've wandered around Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Switzerland, Italy, France, Belgium, and Germany.

However, there are so many more places I hope to visit one day, because I like to think that the once the travel bug bites, the itch never goes away.
