==Get in== By car: DeKalb is located approximately 60 miles west of Chicago. DeKalb is just off I-88. Take the Peace Rd. exit and turn left on 38/Illinois Lincoln Hwy. to visit downtown DeKalb. Take the 2nd exit, which is Annie Glidden Rd. to go directly to Northern Illinois University.
