Hello, I'm Boats and currently a resident of Ernst, near Cochem, a beautiful town on the Mosel River in Germany.

Dutch parentage, grew up in (Western) Australia, with visits to the 'Eastern States' and the Far East. Traveled through No. Africa, Middle Eastern Medditeranean and extensively through West and Central Europe.

Studied in the No. East US (Boston and NY). Lived many years in Boston and Florida, while working in Boston, NY and Chicago. Widely traveled the Carribean and So. America (Colombia extensively).

Past 15+ years; mostly spent working (and traveling) throughout (Southern) Europe, from Venice to Lisbon (with a base in Nice, Cote d'Azur) and many places in between. With occasional visits back to the States, living mostly in Spain now (Tarragona) as a home base, Holland (company base), and currently in Germany, on the Mosel, on a temporary job assignment.
