As a world traveler and adventure lover, I always get along well in Germany and end up coming back for more. Not only is the country one of Europe's cleanest and most organized spots for tourists to navigate, it's also one of the most diverse. Beside the pretzel and beer stands, travelers will also be delighted to find Turkish kabob booths and Italian pizzerias. Germany is not only proud of its culture, but embraces foreign concepts with an open mind. Because of this, travelers of various nationalities are welcome here, as Germany expects other lands will embrace their people, who just might love to travel more than any other nationality.
Berlin, a hot spot for art lovers and historians, is one of the most visited cities of Germany. Because of the number of tourists in the city, I often planned in advance, booking a hotel and any events that I wished to attend a week or two beforehand. Very handy for this portion of my trip was a hotel comparison site. When I had internet access, which was often in Germany, I would compare prices of Berlin hotels using Hotels Combined. Other times I had to trust my luck and walked into places, fingers crossed that there would be availability.
