I live near Nottingham and travel extensively in the UK (both work and leisure). My first love has always been the Lake District.
My longest single trip has been a month, which maybe makes me a bit of a lightweight around here, but a month is enough to realise the difference between travelling and going on holiday. As well as this recently-discovered passion for independent travel I enjoy cruises (at the more informal end of the market) and think they're a good way to cover a lot of ground in limited time.
