Stay safe[edit]

Union County is generally a very safe place. However, if you find yourself in towns such as Elizabeth or Plainfield at night, it is best to stay on the main roads. Crime rates in these areas are unfortunately high Crime Rates in UC so remaining cautious at night is never a bad idea.
