Tutóia is a town in Maranhão, mainly only a stopover between Lençóis Maranhenses and Parnaíba.

Several daily buses to Parnaíba, one daily to São Luís. 4x4 pick up trucks for Paulino Neves, R$ 5, 1,5 hours. There used to be a regular boat to Parnaíba, -no more.
