Tutóia is a town in Maranhão, mainly only a stopover between Lençóis Maranhenses and Parnaíba.

• Several daily buses to Parnaíba, last one leaving at 2:45 PM, 3 hours R$ 14.
• One daily to São Luís.
• 4x4 pick up trucks for Paulino Neves, R$ 8, 1,5 hours. These leave at varying hours, mostly corresponding with buses from Parnaíba, but the only one that seems to be guaranteed leaves at 10 AM.
• There used to be a regular boat to Parnaíba, -no more. You can rent a motor launch for R$ 400, taking up to 4 people.
